Adopting a Coins for Kids family is a wonderful way for your family, company, or organization to give local families the Christmas they cannot give themselves.
Make Christmas Magical with ‘Coins for Kids’ – Adopt a Family!
This festive season, you have a unique opportunity to spread joy and make a real difference in the lives of local families who might otherwise not experience the magic of Christmas. Whether you’re an individual, a family, a company, or an organization, you can adopt a family through our ‘Coins for Kids’ program and provide them with a Christmas to remember.
Here’s How You Can Make a Difference:
- Gift Shopping: Use your personal funds to purchase gifts.
- Gift Wrapping: Add a personal touch by wrapping the gifts yourself.
- Communication: Reach out to the family to share the news of their adoption.
- Coordination & Delivery: Work with the parent(s) of the family to arrange a suitable time and deliver the gifts to your adopted family.
What’s Expected?
- While there’s no upper limit to your generosity, we kindly ask for a minimum spend of $125 per child, aligning with our organizational average.
- During your application, you can specify the number of children you can comfortably support within your budget.
- Once a family has been assigned to you. You are committing to making contact with them by December 13, 2024 to setup a time to deliver the presents. Presents should be delivered no later than December 23, 2024.
Next Steps After Application:
Upon acceptance, expect an email containing the contact details of the family’s parent/guardian. If you apply to adopt a family prior to November 25, 2024, you’ll receive your adoptive families information by November 30, 2024. If you apply to adopt a family after November 25, 2024 then you’ll receive your adoptive families information by December 11, 2024.
In Case of Changes:
Life is unpredictable. If for any reason you find yourself unable to fulfill your commitment, please let us know by December 10th. Contact our hotline at 435-634-6210 and leave a message with your contact details and the family number(s) assigned. This allows us to ensure the family still enjoys a wonderful Christmas.
